Reddit La Roche Posay Hydrating Gentle Cleanser Review

[PSA] There are two La Roche Posay Toleriane cleansers. Learn from my mistake.

If you lot want to become a tester version of the LRP hydrating cleanser, yous might be tempted to purchase the smaller bottle which likewise says "Toleriane" and "cleanser" on it. Don't get it twisted.

The other one is fine — it's like a common cold foam that you can use on a cotton pad to wipe off makeup — but it's not the aforementioned affair. And at present I have a whole bottle of it to go through before I tin can exam the real 1.

Online ingredient lists are telling me the pictures of the ii products you lot posted accept the same ingredients. Ane is just the German language version.

But ya I strongly dislike LRP branding, everything looks then similar it's extremely confusing.

The Hydrating Gentle Cleanser does not be in Germany. At that place are a "Beruhigende Reinigungslotion" and a "Reinigungsmilch". Both are different than the hydrating cleanser.

YUP. Here in Canada the "Gentle Hydrating Cleanser" is called the "Caring Wash" and it's great, though it's too a milky sort of non-foaming cleanser. Shoppers seemed to run out everywhere I looked so I tried the Dermo Cleanser, thought it would exist near the same only without some of the prissy extras (ceramide, niacinamide). Used it once, HATED IT. Information technology has a very similar texture to the Caring Wash but it felt a little more..... idk, oily???? It left a weird film on my face and has none of the goodies that the other one has :(

Yeah, exactly. This is my offset foray into hydrating cleansers so I'1000 not a pro, but I was squicked out by how much stuff it left on my face. I desire to be CLEAN!

Thank you for this comment, I am interested in trying the LRP Toleriane Gentle Hydrating Cleanser and thought the listing for the Dermo Cleanser was the aforementioned (as that's what came upward first on the Shoppers Drug Mart website). Practiced to know the actual Canadian title for the one I'm looking for!

LRP Toleriane Hydrating Cleanser and LRP Toleriane Dermo Clanser are two different products. The later is first cleanser, similar cleansing milk/lotion; makeup remover. Which one you actually desire to try?

Love the Dermo Cleanser! I accept dry & currently dehydrated peel, sometimes with patches of eczema, and accept been using the it for years and I love it so much I haven't tried anything else. I utilise it to launder off my makeup, and then I get my confront wet with a washcloth and so rub the cleanser all over, then washcloth off.
